LIGHTNING LOSS — SITE WALK-THROUGH PLAN

Purpose

This walk-through plan produces a complete, defensible loss path and electronics scope on a lightning loss in a single site visit. Follow the phases in order. Do not allow anyone to power on or test devices until Phase 5 is complete and dispositions are recorded.

⚠ Critical Rule
No device in the loss path is powered on, tested, or unplugged until the loss path is documented and inventory dispositions are tiered. Powering a surge-exposed device can complete latent damage and compromise scope defensibility.
